There is no telephone line. Email is the fastest and only supported route, and it reaches a person.

2. What the service is

HomeChefs is an online marketplace at home-chefs.app that connects home cooks with people nearby. HomeChefs is an intermediary: the contract for a meal is between the customer and the cook, and the cook is the food business responsible for what they sell. HomeChefs charges the cook a service fee on completed orders.

3. Contact and complaints

Send complaints, legal notices, data protection requests and refund disputes to support@home-chefs.app. We confirm receipt and aim to answer within a few working days; written complaints receive a written reply.

4. Dispute resolution

Croatian law applies, and the courts of Zagreb, Croatia have jurisdiction, without removing any protection a consumer has under the mandatory law of their own country of residence. Consumers in the EU can find information about available dispute-resolution bodies through the European Commission's consumer dispute-resolution directory. We are not obliged to take part in, and do not currently commit to, proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

5. Hosting and providers

The site is hosted on cloud infrastructure inside the EU or under equivalent safeguards. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, email is sent through our email provider, push notifications through our messaging provider, and address lookup through a mapping provider. The privacy policy lists what each one handles.

6. Language and content

The HomeChefs interface is available in several languages. The legal documents are published in English, and the English text is the governing version. Photos, dish descriptions, kitchen stories and reviews are created by users; HomeChefs is not the author of that content and removes it when it breaks our rules or the law.
